The World Congress of Podiatry is the premier foot and ankle conference of the International Federation of Podiatrists – Federation Internationale des Podologues (FIP-IFP). Since the inception of the World Congress of Podiatry in 1966, this world class event serves to be the largest gathering of international podiatrists who will join together as colleagues from over 40 countries. The conference features oral and poster presentations, interactive workshops and an exhibitor hall of over 100 podiatric service providers from around the world.
The 2019 World Congress of Podiatry will take place in Miami, Florida, USA at the Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel and the James L. Knight Venue.
Podiatric Physicians Accreditation Statement:
The American Society of Podiatric Surgeons (ASPS) is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. Attendees can earn approximately 15 continuing education credit hours for this conference. The American Society of Podiatric Students, and health professionals with an interest in advancing their knowledge of foot and ankle surgery.
In accordance with the requirements of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education, ASPS is required to monitor educational session attendance for verification of CECH. Morning and afternoon sign-in forms will be available each day during the conference. Sign-in will be required on each form each day to verify attendance. Each registrant is responsible for reporting attendance to all appropriate boards and agencies requiring continuing education. Credits may be registered with state boards by providing a copy of your CECH certificate.
Continuing Education and Credentialing:
ASPS is proud to be a CPME accredited provider approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. As is the case with all specialty societies and colleges, ASPS is not a credentialing organization and does not conduct licensing or certification processes. The principal purpose of ASPS is to facilitate education and research activities in the area of podiatric surgery. These activities are viewed to reinforce and support licensing and certification processes.
